Meet Ace, Chegg's new mascot who is helping students "get a grip" on college! She's got 8 arms and 9 brains, so she's ready for anything. In order to introduce Ace to the world, we launched our Get a Grip campaign in H1 2025. This was truly an omnichannel campaign, with streaming ads, paid & organic social, email, display ads, and even incorporation within the Chegg product.

Hero spots
Get a Grip kicked off in a big way with two hero spots, launched on Hulu, Disney+, and Max. In collaboration with an external agency, we developed a concept that brought fresh energy to our brand presence in the digital space.
Bringing Ace to life in 2D
Once the videos were live, we adapted the 3D mascot into a more versatile and evergreen 2D format. We created a dynamic library of character illustrations, each representing a unique way Ace supports students throughout their journey. This scalable approach allowed us to seamlessly integrate her bubbly personality into various brand touchpoints while maintaining a cohesive visual identity.
