ROLE: Design Lead, Strategy, Project Lead

Student Mental Health Week (SMHW) is an annual initiative dedicated to raising awareness and providing support for the mental wellbeing of students around the world. Each year, Chegg partners with leading global nonprofits, higher ed institutions, influencers, and more to help normalize the discussion of mental health and provide resources for students who may be struggling.

Student Mental Health Week 2025

We developed a flexible, scalable visual identity for the program, with comprehensive guidelines to ensure seamless integration across partner brands and PR media. By leveraging Chegg’s extended and UI color palettes, we crafted a fresh, dynamic look that remains distinctly aligned with our brand.

Support across the learner journey

SMHW delivers content in diverse formats made to empower and inform. Spanning platforms like our online resource hub, influencer partnerships, and internal activations, each touchpoint is designed to enhance the student experience and drive meaningful engagement.

Student Mental Health Week 2024

The 2024 logo focused on highlighting different aspects of the student experience, from mental stress to academic success. 2024 was a big year for on-campus and global activations, including therapy dog visits, meetings with Congressional leaders, and even a roundtable discussion in Chegg's Busuu office with Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice.
